Over the years I have tried out quite a few different smokeless cigarettes, some of which have been good and other have been pretty terrible. The Blu Cig is one of the good ones. Not only is it one of the best E cigarettes around, they wont cost you a huge amount of money either. As soon as your Blu Cig arrives, you get the box open and assemble it you are going to notice that it actually looks like a regular cigarette. Up until now many of the designs of cheaper E cigarettes had been really weird, looking nothing like normal cigarettes, which in turn made the user look a little odd using them in public. With the Blu Cig someone sitting across from you at work or in a restaurant are not going to be able to tell the difference, other than there being no smoke coming off of it of course.
Using Your Blu Cig
When you get to using Blu Cigs you really notice the difference between these and the other cheap electronic cigarettes. First of all the vapor is on a totally different level, every time you exhale you are greeted with a thick vapor which leaves you feeling pretty satisfied. To get the most vapor though you do need to give it a “primer puff”, a quick, short drag before you fill your lungs. I’m not sure why this improves it, but I read it in another review before I bought my Blu Cig and it really does make a difference. Perhaps the battery and atomizer need a little wake up call before swinging into action. The feeling on the throat is great as well, just as I remember from smoking tobacco previously.
I think the main reason why Blu Cigs are ahead of so many other brands is their partnership with Johnson Creek, who are without doubt one of the finest E cigarette cartridge/smoke juice manufacturers there is. Johnson creek also offer a range of great flavors too, such as Cherry Crush, Java Jolt and so on. Recently Green Smoke and other smokeless cigarette companies stopped selling this type of flavored cartridge which is a real let down. Even with Johnson Creek making the Blu refill cartridges they still manage to keep the costs down, if you buy in bulk they cost less than $2 each.
Another thing Blu have over not only the cheaper brands, but also some of the most expensive brands is the Blu Pack. This just looks like a regular E cigarette carry case, but it is in fact a mobile charger as well. There is a battery built into it which when fully charged can recharge the battery of your E cig up to six times. So for most people this means only having to plug it in once or twice every week. To charge up your E cigarette battery it will only take about 40 minutes. Inside the case there is space for a spare battery too so you can keep on “smoking” while the other battery charges, and there is room for a number of refill cartridges as well. Enough to keep you going for some time.
This Blu Pack comes in their starter kit, along with two batteries, a pack of five refill cartridges, a USB charger and a wall charger. All for less than $70 delivered to your front door. This truly is great value for money.
